The original disLEXia project including my personal weblog is dead.
The disLEXia project was an attempt to gather information on incidents of computer-related time. I consider it quite successfull: it contained 4860 items between 1985 and 2003.
The whole Project was tied very closely to the software which was used to generate it. The software used to vreate it (called TvLuserLand) was a crossover between News-Aggregator, Web Spider, Weblog Tool, Mail processor and Database. It was written in Python and hat a GUI partwise realized as an Webapplication and partwise in wxWindows for better responsiveness. Since my Notebook is gone the newest revision of TvLuserland – and much worse – the Database of disLEXia is gone. So while the static rendering of disLEXia http://md.hudora.de/blog/ still exists and will stay there, I have no way of adding to the site. Perhaps one day I will write new software and parse the HTML at the old site to regenerate the database, but not now.
For now I will continue blogging at http://blogs.23.nu/disLEXia/ and http://blogs.23.nu/cybercrime/
