No fun with iStumbler

iStumbler seemingly doesn’t work at all. Compare iStumblers output with the output of Max OS X system tools.

Is anybody aware of other interesting Bluetooth tools for the Mac besides the SDK.

MrDehbuga is a MacOS X debugger written in Cocoa. It’s a graduation project from a swedish student and looks very nice. I hope he has the time and resources to keep on working on it.

Finally, the whole tmnhc staff is equiped with bluetooth hardware, so, let’s do something.
One of the first things is to get a first impression about the spread of BT powered devices, iStumbler seems to be a decent tool, capable of WaveLAN and Bluetooth scanning.

Fun with Firewire

Working further to understand Firewire, I was able to hack up FireStarter.

This image is a screenshot of a Mac running no special Software. The screen was blanked via Firewire from an other machine and the animated flame is pushed via firewire to the screen. You als see ichat smartly redrawing the screen and messing up my impressive screenshot.
